The King's Travelers blog
Howdy, Travelers!
This is an experiment to see if a blog page could be used to augment or possibly replace our web site.
One nice feature of the blog page is that it is a free service provided by Google. If we could use this instead of our web site, we could save over $200 per year.
One disadvantage is that we would not have our distinctive web page address. Instead, we would have to go to
kingstravelers.blogspot.com
Or, for about $12 per year, we could have our own address, without the word "blogspot" in the middle!
There is definitely a learning curve to using it, but it is not nearly as difficult as using our web site. It's a lot like using a word processor.
It's easy to insert pictures. There is direct access to our Google photo albums.
It took just a few seconds to add this picture from our Thanksgiving Dinner photo album.
Our web site is paid up through the end of March, 2023. So, we have some time to make a decision on this. And, if we decide to replace the web site with a blog, it would give us time to port the information over from the web site.
There isn't much here yet, so
Click here to go to our web page.
Let's communicate!
